Why Do I Need A Translator Who Can Translate Polish To English
Last week I visited Poland from England. Being an Englishman I obviously am not familiar with the Polish language, hence I encountered lots of issues for this reason. I needed somebody who could have translated the language, i.e. I needed a translator Polish to English, but I was unable to locate one.
The difficulties began from day one of my visit. The accommodation I was living in surprisingly did not have any fluent English speaking attendants. Only a manager could speak with me. From the door keeper to the waiter, everyone Polish! Annoyed I decided to take a stroll around the hotel. While roaming, I stumbled onto a Flower supplier - beautiful daffodils and adorable roses loaded her flower bouquet.
I asked her about the price of one flower bunch and this lady just kept staring at me for 5 minutes. Having already gotten used to the treatment I made a decision to get a little boy who could translate Polish to English. Yet as I said I searched, but could not locate one. The tour therefore had this kind of problems all the while.
Luckily my job was not of speaking with the Polish people very much, so I was able to focus on my work. Occasionally such events happened to amuse me, that people are so unwilling to learn the worldwide language. You may say that was real patriotism, but in the search of true patriotism they lost some foreign currency which could have had some effect on the overall economy!
But I was additionally ignorant to go into a foreign language country and not understanding anything about them. Now that I have came back, I am studying the Polish language - to some extent. Lastly as they say in Polish - pozegnanie. (I made use of a translation Polish to English software program for the last statement)
