This is largely because of the Smurfs film being due to come out soon, and the Smurf generation is just old enough to dress up like a blue creature when they like!
Dressing up in a Smurfette dress is not hard to do. You need to get all of the things together. You can buy a set online, or you can easily get/make the individual things yourself, perhaps saving time, but maybe adding a bit of annoyance in the course.
One thing which is important to look into is skin allergies. Most Smurf costumes require or contain blue body or face color. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, you may want to think twice. One quick thing you can do, whether or not you have allergic skin, is get the paint early, and check it on an unnoticeable area of your body. Check it over the next couple hours to find if it is itchy or breaks out. Wash it off at the end of the day, but continue checking the spot. Bear in mind that anything it does on that spot, it'll likely do to your face, so this is a good approach to get prepared.
Dressing up in a Smurfette costume is both fun and interesting. Let everybody know your appreciation for the blue guys when having a good time in your new outfit! Most important of all-be sure you have lots of enjoyment. Smurfette always did, make her delighted!
