If you have never had a Rogue in WOW, then, seriously, what are you waiting for? The Rogue is one of my absolute favorite character types and I have a feeling it will be one of yours also.
For people new to WOW, or anyone who's soloing, a Rogue is a great option. They have a lot of built in skills and abilities which make them simpler to use solo. To start with an obvious one--You are able to Stealth up to enemies and Sap them, Pickpocket them, and then kill them, utilizing your awesome Dual Wield and super fast combos! Also, for the soloers out there, the Rogue has some awesome skills which enable you to run away quick when you're getting ganked, including Sprint and Vanish-which is great if in the middle of a fight you need to bandage!
Plus, Rogues simply have some of the coolest skills, I mean what's cooler than lockpicking and pickpocketing?
If you're searching to use a Rogue Leveling Guide, then be aware that you might not get to experience everything in the game, additionally you may not be able to learn every skill/profession in the book. The perfect type, I believe, are the in-game add-on guides. Just make sure that they comply with Blizzard rules and they are intelligent. This means that they are aware of which quests you have done already and adjust accordingly.
