A Young Woman Engages In Abusive And Hazardous Drinking And Gets First Class Help At An Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility For Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling quite fretful lately and started to "medicate" herself by having two or three shots of bourbon every evening after she tucked her children into bed. After about six weeks of this drinking routine, she finally understood the fact that rather than helping her relax and "manage" her problems, drinking alcohol made her feel less tranquil when she got up in the morning. This, consequently, made her feel more anxious all through the day.

After thinking about her situation for several days, Beth made up her mind to "open up" about her drinking problem with her closest friend. In actual fact, roughly ten minutes into their discussion, Beth's best friend Daniela, told her that she knew about a very highly qualified and helpful doctor at the local alcohol and drug treatment facility. After talking to her friend, Beth without delay got motivated to call the treatment clinic and make an appointment.

Ten days later she eventually got to meet the doctor her best friend had been talking about. After their short-and-to-the-point introduction, Beth explained to the physician that ever since she and her former husband divorced one another, she has been having a difficult time spiritually, financially, and emotionally.

As Beth was talking to the physician, she emphasized the point that she honestly believed that she and her former husband waited long enough to know each other well enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, however, their relationship seemed to deteriorate. Not only this but both she and Robert started to drink, and their irresponsible drinking negatively impacted their finances, their love for one another, and their relationship.

The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her irresponsible and unhealthy drinking. The psychiatrist also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the more common symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehabilitation.

After spending four months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was gradually able to understand that the real origin of her tension and her depression was the fact that she had not resolved her resentful feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings distress her to such an extent that she became an alcoholic.

Armed with these insights and with the medications her psychiatrist prescribed, she finally quit drinking, she started to feel significantly less depressed, and she started scheduling more time for social activities with her friends and family. What is more, a few months after getting therapy from her doctor, began to date once again.

It was obvious that Beth had certainly come a long way. In fact, just about five months after she completed her rehab, she had finally laid the negative feelings of her ex-husband to rest and was starting to feel better about herself and more spiritually"alive" and emotionally "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
